NOTE
The slip yoke and propeller shaft are balanced together for proper operation. Before removal, mark yoke
and shaft alignment to aid in installation.
WARNING
Drycleaning solvent vapors are poisonous and highly flammable. Always work in well-ventilated area. To
prevent injury to personnel, do not smoke or allow solvent near open flames.

Slip yoke (2)
a. Using scriber, matchmark yoke and
shaft (1)
shaft.
b. Slide yoke (2) out on shaft (1), and
clean shaft (1) of any dirt or
corrosion using clean rag and dry-
cleaning solvent.

Seal cap (3)
a. Using pipe wrench, unscrew.
b. Let hang on shaft (1).
