REMOVAL
NOTE
This procedure is for the left side tie rod end. The procedure for the right side tie rod end is the same.

Nut (1)
Cotter pin (2)
Using diagonal cutting pliers, take out
and get rid of pin (2).

Stud (3)
Nut (1)
Using 1 5/16-inch socket, adapter with
3/4-inch drive, and hinged handle with
1/2-inch drive, unscrew and take off.
3.
Steering arm (4)
Tie rod end (5)
Using hammer and ball and socket
separator, drive apart.
