Hose (1)

Put in place.

Radiator (2)

Elbow (3)

a. Using rags, clean threads.

b. Wrap clean threads with teflon tape

c. Screw in, and tighten using 1 1/8-

inch wrench.

Elbow (3)

Hose nut (4) and

Screw on, and tighten using 1 1/8-inch

hose (1)

and 1 1/4-inch wrenches.

NOTE

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:

Service transmission (LO 9-2320-269-12).

tart engine, operate transmission (TM 9-2320-269-10), and check for leaks.
