Socket, 1/4-inch drive
Right side of hood open (page 2-7).
Vise, machinist's
Air intake hose removed (page 2-247).
Cooling system drained (page 2-265).
Materials/Parts
Pushnut, FAN/TEMP cable-to-
temperature control valve
Ties, wire, plastic (as required)

Plastic ties (3)
a. Using diagonal cutting pliers, cut and
(1) to hose (2)
take off.
b. Get rid of.

FAN/TEMP cable (4)
Pushnut (6)
a. Using diagonal cutting pliers, squeeze
to lever (5)
and take off.
b. Get rid of.

Temperature

Using 1/4-inch socket and handle,
