Using hacksaw, cut.

Using pliers wrench and slip-joint
pliers, spread open.

Take off link (3) and clamp (4).

Take off, and get rid of.

Repair link (5)

Using 3/8-inch wrench, screw nut
(6) down onto link (5) opening

Hook onto clamp loop (1).
