Flat washer (3) and
a. Slide flat washer (3) onto shaft.
nut (2)
b. Hold pulley (5) and fan (6) tight against
alternator (4).
c. Screw on nut (2).
d. Screw in, and tighten using 15/16-inch
socket. handle. and nine wrench

Fan (6) and
Check for tightness and alignment to
pulley.
Shaft (1).
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE: Install alternator drive belts (page 2-282).
