Clean in drycleaning solvent.

Replace damaged or defective parts as needed.

Idler pulley (1)
a. Look for scratches, cracks, and nicks
on belt contact surfaces.
b. Look for scratches and cracks on
bearing bore.
13.
Idler arm (2)
Look for bends, breaks, cracks, and
distortion.
ASSEMBLY
14. Idler pulley (1)
Retaining ring (3)
Using snapring pliers, put in.
NOTE
Do not do step 15 unless bearing was removed.
15.
Bearing (4)
Using bearing remover and flat washer,
press in until seated against ring (3).
